In order to select the correct size of glove, simply measure across your palm at the point indicated in the picture. Then compare your measurement with the chart below to ensure that you select the correct size of glove for your hand.
We would recommend using a tape measure or ruler to get the right measurement. Our measurements are based on centimetres.
Where your measurement falls on the boundary of two sizes, we would recommend selecting the larger of the two sizes for a comfortable fit. However, if you would specifically like your gloves to be a closer fit, perhaps for work that requires fine movements, select the smaller of the two sizes.
These items comply with the requirements of Module B of the PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and the harmonised standard(s) referenced below.
Note – There is no standardised test method at present for detecting U.V penetration of materials for gloves but the current methods of construction of protective gloves for welder’s do not normally allow penetration.
The CE mark indicates that the product complies with the general requirements, as laid out in the PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425: Personal Protective Equipment Directive, EN420 + A1:2009 Protective Gloves General Requirements.
EN388:2016, EN407:2003
EN388:2016 performance levels shown are taken from the palm area only.
These gloves do not provide protection against electric shock caused by defective equipment or live working, and the electrical resistance is reduced if gloves are wet, dirty or soaked – this could increase risk.
