Ivisons Autumn/Winter fertiliser is a proven mix that helps the soil get the nutrients it needs to prepare your lawn for the winter months. During winter, your lawn goes through a lot, it needs a little more TLC to ensure its survival during such harsh conditions. It's a slow-release formula that can feed your lawn for up to 8-10 weeks. It will help protect your lawn from disease, frost and even kill moss!

Ivisons Autumn/Winter Fertiliser is high in pottassium, this helps facilitate plant development (helps the grass to grow), Improves immunity and disease resistance (builds strong grass by hardening it, so when the winter frost arrives, your grass will be ready to fight off disease with its super sharp and hardy blades), and improves resistance to stress (helping your lawn withstand freezing temperatures and drought). This fertiliser is made up of homogenous granules. This means that each granule has the same nutrient analysis to ensure an even spread of nutrients across the sown area. With Cheaper blended fertilisers, the analysis is represented in the bag rather than each granular, which leads to an uneven spread of nutrients. Using a Blended fertiliser can lead to a patchy lawn, parts of your lawn may grow quicker than others and the colour of the grass may differ throughout. |
When To Use Autumn/Winter Fertiliser
Without carrying out a full soil analysis, it is very difficult to know exactly which nutrients your lawn requires. Ivisons Autumn/Winter Fertiliser contains appropriate quantities of nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium that will sufficiently nourish the soil, preparing it for winter.
How To Apply
- Apply our fertiliser at the recommended rate by hand (remember to wear a glove!) or by using a spreader.
- Water the fertiliser in until it dissolves, the ground must be free from frost, so they don’t freeze.
- Keep children and pets off the lawn until the granules have dissolved. The granules should dissolve within 24 hours.
- Remove or clean the footwear you were wearing during application to avoid damaging surrounding areas such as patios.
