Using Ivisons Tree and Shrub planting fertiliser before planting your tree, shrubs, bushes or seeding is a great way of ensuring that your trees and shrubs get off to the best possible start.

Ivisons Tree & Shrub Fertiliser is a granular fertiliser making it one of the easiest fertilizers to apply correctly and evenly is the granular type. As you spread the tiny pellets, they are easily visible across the grass blades. A solid watering across the entire lawn forces the fertilizer down into the soil. You can let your pets back onto the lawn after 24 hours have elapsed from the last time you saw granules on the grass blades. A full day allows the fertilizer to soak deep into the soil and provides evaporation time for the water.

More About The Mixture:  This is a phosphorus-rich fertiliser, meaning it will help plant growth by increasing early growth and root formation.  This fertiliser is made up of homogenous granules. This means that each granule has the same nutrient analysis to ensure an even spread of nutrients across the sown area. With Cheaper blended fertilisers, the analysis is represented in the bag rather than each granular, which leads to an uneven spread of nutrients. Using a Blended fertiliser can lead to a patchy lawn, parts of your lawn may grow quicker than others and the colour of the grass may differ throughout.

When To Use Ivisons 5-15-8 Tree & Shrub Fertiliser: 

Without carrying out a full soil analysis, it is very difficult to know exactly which nutrients the soil requires. Use Ivisons Tree and Shrub fertiliser before planting your tree, shrubs, bushes or seeding as it's a great way of ensuring that your trees and shrubs get off to the best possible start. Spread 3-5 days before sowing seeds and treatments must me at least 6 weeks apart. It is recommended you apply during the growing season normally April To October, but it is also a great booster all year round.


How To Apply 

• Apply our fertiliser at the recommended rate by hand (remember to wear a glove!) or by using a spreader.
   
• Water the fertiliser in until it dissolves, the ground must be free from frost, so they don’t freeze.
   
• Keep children and pets off the lawn until the granules have dissolved. The granules should dissolve within 24 hours.
   
• Remove or clean the footwear you were wearing during application to avoid damaging surrounding areas such as patios.
